Cognitive
Development is perception, attention, language, problem solving, reasoning, memory, and conceptual understanding. For my Developmental Psychology project I compared the cognitive development of children between the ages
of 6 and 12 in order to prove or disprove that there are stages in which clear signs increases in cognitive abilities are
apparent. I conducted this via visual and verbal aspects using the emotional references to love, happiness, and anger. In
addition, I used Piaget's theory of cognitive concepts and the impact of nature vs. nurture to support and critique my findings.
